Health Statistics on the Web : It’s as Easy as … 1, 2, 3!
The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Library will host a health statistics workshop for health professionals on Thursday, February 21, 2013.
This 3-hour workshop focuses on the location, selection, and effective use of statistics relevant to health on the local, state, national, and international levels. The importance and relevance of health statistics in various contexts will be discussed. Participants will have the opportunity to become familiar with the features and scope of several Internet statistics resources through the use of numerous exercises. Registration is required.

How much does it cost to attend?
- Nothing. Funding is provided by National Network/Libraries of Medicine, Southeastern/Atlantic Region, National Library of Medicine, which is a part of the National Institutes of Health.
Will refreshments (e.g.,coffee, breakfast, lunch) be provided?
- Refreshments will not be provided. However, participants will be directed to an on-campus cafe to purchase refreshments during a small break.
Will free parking be provided?
- No. A self-paid four-story grey parking structure is located behind the General Education Building, with entrance at 869 Madison Avenue. For more information about parking, click here

- Non-UTHSC personnel cannot use a personal laptop to connect to the campus wireless network.
