Health Sciences Library Better Aligns Collection With Campus Priorities

Over the last two years the Health Sciences Library has put a special emphasis on better aligning our collections and resources with campus priorities and the mission of the university.

Our Wiley pay-per-view service has increased access to biomedical journals by over 800 titles. AccessMedicine has added over 85 of the leading medical textbooks to our collection. ClinicalKey has also expanded our e-journal and e-book collections significantly. We have added the Joanna Briggs Institute – Evidence Based Practices collection, which is widely regarded as one of the world’s best collections of evidence–based information from across the globe.

Recently, we added nearly 350 e-book titles from the Doody’s Core Titles – Essentials collection for the health sciences. When we began this project we only had access to 26% of the titles in this collection, but when completed we will boast 95% access.
