Tennessee Electronic Library Provides Over 6000 Resources
Looking for more general information you’d expect to find in the public library? The Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL) provides electronic access to journals, magazines, newspapers, essays, directories, and databases covering such topics as health reference and wellness, business and industry information, sports, humanities, hobbies, K12 resources, environment, history, engineering, communications, arts, entertainment, and much more.
TEL includes many Spanish, student, and children’s resources, as well as popular and professional publications. Most resource files date back to 1980.
You can access TEL from the library’s home page under Databases.
TEL is part of the resources from Tenn-Share (The Tennessee Information Resources Consortium), which is a collection of databases provided through federal funds and administered by the Tennessee State Library and Archives.
